Burst was a teenager when he found a small light egg floating in the chilly river. The egg was frosty and cold, and he worried that the hatchling had already died. Nevertheless, he brought it home and Sade and Garland incubated it. Amazingly, the egg survived. The dragon that hatched was Electra, a tiny and extremely delicate fae who never grew to even half the size of a normal adult fae. As a child, Electra wanted desperately to help the coliseum team protect the clan, but she is too small and delicate to fight without becoming injured. Her restlessness was quickly driving her family insane, and they worried for her health. To help her not feel useless, Starlight taught her the basic metalsmithing skills he knew, and she quickly expanded on that knowledge, eventually settling with the knowledge that fighting is not the path she was meant for. Electra is the clan's metal worker, and because of her small size, she can forge details a larger dragon never could.
Electra was sought out by Slaughter, a designer of prosthetics and mobility aids, and she was very surprised by how far word of her skill with metal had spread. The two were fast friends, both pleased to have a coworker of similar skill and drive. They regularly churn out designs of all sorts, taking commissions for dragons from every corner of Sornieth. The vast size difference between the two means that there is very little the team cannot accomplish.
