Forced to hunt for his family during his childhood, Lankas was never able to pursue the passion he had for knowledge. By the time he left his clan, his only real skill was with a bow and arrow, and he reluctantly became a mercenary (and occasional assassin). High-ranking targets also afforded him the opportunity to steal books he was interested in.

He met Karda because both of them were assigned the same target, and ended up deciding they were better as a team. Together, they retired from assassins work, and looked to settle down somewhere. He's now getting the education that he wanted, mostly from Neuvo, and hunts food for the clan in return.

He's a great listener, giving the impression that he's cataloguing everything anyone says to him in some file in his mind, never losing interest for a second. He's patient, passionate, and you can see the love in his eyes whenever he looks at Karda.
