A string of intricately carved vertebrae was used to create this dragon. They are open, and socially brilliant. However, they are always willing to please, and may find themselves taken advantage of...
Vex lay still on the frigid ground of the Snowsquall Tundra, praying to whatever gods might listen to a... thing like them that the band of assailants they had once called friends had finally moved on. A moment of quiet, then another, and the former imperial tentatively raised their head, and slowly began to stagger to their feet.
They would need to eat soon, to replenish the supply of magic and organic matter that kept them going, and to see to their injuries as well. Though with time and resources they would eventually vanish without a trace, Vex knew that in their current state they ran the risk of being torn apart by a particularly brave predator, or by another dragon.
The grin that had spread across the pearlcatcher's face as she ordered her band to dispose of them sent a chill down Vex's body; not that there was much warmth to begin with aside from what was created by the symbols writ across them, both outside and in. They thought that this time, for sure they had finally found a home that wouldn't shun or attack them, who, by the warden might even appreciate their presence, but those had clearly been the hopes of a fool.
They had found shelter, of a sort; planks of wood leaned up against a respectably-sized pine and the face of a cliff provided at least some protection from the elements, and some cover away from any curious eyes that saw in them a meal- or worse.
