Barite is a member of Light Elites, warriors that were not born into Light, but chose to pledge their sword, claws and magic to the Lightweaver in exchange for a place under her wing.

She is unmatched with a cutlass, her swift and vicious attacks made even more dangerous with well-timed strikes of the sharp spines on her wings. She does suffer from a dangerous lack of a self-preservation instinct, and can often be seen sporting various wounds and dressings. It is a whole other battle in itself to wrestle her into a healer's chamber too - for such a big, tough warrior, she is terribly afraid of doctors.

Barite is brutally honest, and far from unaware of it - she likes judging others' reactions to her often abrasive statements, and often makes up her mind about the dragon based on that impression. It's still unclear if she prefers it when they take the critique, or when they punch her in the face.
