Some bonds are thicker than blood. Lasting through time, space, age, separation, these are the bonds of the heart. Stretching and bending, they’re unbreakable. Stronger, better, perfect. But these bonds are rare, and oft hidden away. Amethyst, Lyune, and Firyce have one such connection, formed by youth, and forged in battle. Don’t be fooled by Amethyst’s tough exterior, she’s not one for cruelty. A brilliant strategist, hardened by mistakes, she is drawn to the shadows. She is one of those one in a million dragons that can actually adapt well, and quickly at that. Neither hasty nor easily annoyed, she would be a perfect leader, that is, if she ever decided to go for power. Not greedy or selfish, she’s fine being kind of in the background. Hey, she knows all she’s done for the clan, having sired a naturally gifted healer, and provided many key strategies for the clan's survival. She doesn’t need glory, she doesn’t need gold, or fame. Just herself and her friends, and the happiness she gets when her daughter prevails. Every scar is a new tale to tell, a new story to be passed down. Instead of hiding these marks, she shows them, trophies of her battles. She watches, engulfed in the friendly hold of the shadows.
