 Wally Bailey | ReporterTitle // Wildclaw // "quote" Voice - Billy Joel | Theme - Wait For Me II from Hadestown Wally grew up in Gloomstrum and is the only known surviving member of his family, who all just seemed to vanish one day. He's been dedicated to finding out what happened to them for about fifteen years now although sometimes it interferes with his work as a reporter. This lead to him hiring Mason and Drover as help, with them meeting just about every other week to swap information. Soon after his family's disappearance, the crystals that now cover Wally's head started sprouting and grew for years until they covered his eyes. He had to take several years off from work until he was finally able to hone the ability to use his magic to 'see' the world around him. His reporting work has suffered from this but he's too stubborn to quit, especially since he came from a long line of reporters. Not much progress has been made in finding his family but he's not about to give up any time soon; he barely knows anything about his family and if he has to spend the rest of his life trying to find anything out, he will. |

Wally's stubborn nature and reporter's instinct have lead him into many dangerous situations, although he'll tell anyone that asks that it was worth the pain. One of his most known reporting jobs is when he helped police gather information on the local mafia; this caused him to have a rather large bounty on his head for awhile which resulted in him getting a few gunshot and magic wounds.
Like a lot of reporters, Wally can be pushy and insensitive; though he doesn't really seem to care about it, saying he has to do whatever it takes to get a scoop, even if it makes others dislike him. |
