P E R S O N A L I T Y
Despite being about the size of, well, a bug, Nurax has an enormous personality. Bobbing and weaving at hummingbird speeds through the trees of the Driftwood Drag, Nurax has lived all her life in the Shadowbinder's Tangled Woods, and she lives for the shadows and the night with every fiber of her admittedly tiny being. Motherly, caring and very broody, Nurax is also a three-foot-long firecracker who can and will kick your *** without hesitation if you rile her up. Nurax never sits still, and she loves everyone--especially babies--but if you do get on her bad side, woe be unto you. Nurax is small but most certainly large in her own mind, and she seems to have absolutely no idea that she's about the same size as her mate's head. She's a spitfire, a talker, and everything is always! so! exciting! Babies are everything; they must be protected, they must be loved, they must be cuddled. Euram and Xaviar were both large than she was within five days and she still tried to tuck them under her wings. She will sit on your babies for you. She will sit on you. Everyone is her child, and do not talk back to your mother, young dragon! When her family is threatened, however, the fun goes away faster than you can say "uh oh". Much like a mother spider, Nurax is a terrifying and fierce protector, and she will rend you limb from limb if you threaten her clan. |
B I O G R A P H Y
Born in the heart of the Wispwillow Grove, Nurax has lived her whole life in the realm of the Shadowbinder, and she loves it there. Many members of her original clan left to serve the Shadowbinder in her army, though Nurax enjoyed the beauty of the world too much to get caught up in rushing to battle, as she felt it would make her "busy" and "never stopping to enjoy nature". Ironic given how fast she launches herself through life on a daily basis. Nurax met Donsair tangled in the thorns of the Foxfire Brambles. Being a fae dragon, and more than used to dealing with trees, Nurax had him freed shortly, and traveled with him to the Driftwood Drag where he originally had intended to try and head down the coast to the Sunbeam Ruins. Nurax annoyed him at first, but he decided he would be better served sticking around and starting a clan in the Driftwood Drag. They were joined shortly by Halcyon, Arabella, Oranges and Erendiria, and they chanced across a young Vouel shortly after first making their home in the silty river delta. Nurax was immediately motherly to Vouel and Erendiria, while also hypothesizing they might be a future couple, and shortly after she and Donsair decided to have their own clutch, which consisted of Euram and Xaviar, both of whom Nurax is very close to and still tries to sit on from time to time, despite Xaviar being five times her size. |
