Neith has more than one pearl. In fact her pearls are worth more to her than even an average Pearlcatcher, because, you see, her pearls house entire worlds within them. The pearls are heavily guarded by several Dunewind Manticores, along with Neith herself. She holds herself as if she was one of the first deities.

Whenever she is asked about her past, Neith just smiles and continues whatever it is that she's doing. Even when an Imperial demands information, the Pearlcatcher never looses her cool. Or so it seems. Only one dragon is allowed into her lair at a time, so nobody knows exactly what does down... and those who leave after being too pushy don't speak of it. Some have never returned. If Neith is also questioned about their whereabouts-- as she is questioned about everything-- she tends to just tap one of her pearls and say that they're "somewhere in here". Everyone is too terrified to ask what that possibly means.

Some say that her eyes come from the Earth element, that she was born within an average Earth Clan before being exiled because of her ability. That her eyes are simply a dark shade of the Earth, from the fluctuations in magic some time ago. Many of questioned Neith about this-- this being one of the few questions she has ever answered. She laughs, then responds: "I don't know what made you think that! What a silly notion. My eyes are dark as the deepest depths, as dark as the oil within this planet. What made you think I am of any of your elements?"

Any dragon has yet to ask her to elaborate on her answers, presumably because they are afraid. Afraid because most of what they hear should be rumors... but there's just enough truth in there, just enough strange happenings that cannot be otherwise explained.
