Chime is an adventurous soul who enjoys traveling to new places and meeting new dragons. An optimist, she appreciates the beauty in everyday sights and sounds. Chime frequently paints scenes from her travels as a way of capturing them in her memory, and gives many of these paintings to friends she meets along the way. She would never sell her artwork, since it comes from her heart, but giving it away makes Chime very happy.

A lover of the performing arts, Chime frequents many of the traveling minstrels and shows in the areas she passes through. She particularly enjoys singing and musical instruments; although she cannot sing, she has been attempting to learn to play a simple instrument.

In the Lightning clan where she last lived, Chime became close friends with another female Coatl named Devara. While Chime is glad to be traveling again, she misses Devara's company and the two keep in touch with letters.

During her visit to a Wind clan, she met and bonded to an abandoned Clouddancer familiar named Dodge. He now follows her on her travels and helps to deliver her letters.
