THE self-styled King Tyler resides on a brief patch of sand on the Rusting Shores. How he came to be in possession of what is essentially marese beachfront property is only unclear to anyone who has never met Tyler personally. Spend two minutes talking to him and you'll quickly discover that Tyler is sweet, generous, and oddly charismatic for someone who so regularly spends very little time fully clear-headed and alert. He's also impossible to argue with, primarily in that he will just continuously agree with whatever the opposite position is without ever really seeming to grok it -- leaving whoever argues with him feeling exasperated enough to just drop the subject altogether. So it was when Tyler decided to build his little hut on the Shores: the Greenteeth maren in control of the Shores did their best to dissuade him, but eventually discovered it was much easier to just leave him be and work around him instead. Tyler calls his little hut the Kingdom Cove Tikiria -- that's a combination pizzeria and tiki bar, for the uninitiated. Kingdom Cove, despite its remoteness from most major centers of civilisation in the region, sees a fair amount of traffic: travelers coming by Sea often spend at least a few coins there for the novelty of it, and younger Greenteeth consider the place an entertaining hangout, not least because maren process alcohol much faster than dragons and can thereby win an astounding amount of bets that way. | xxxxxxxxxx |

IMPRESSIONS
His mane is much longer and more unwieldy than is entirely expected for a skydancer, blown into a constant state of handsome scruffiness by the Sea breeze and worked over thoroughly by frequent dips in the water. His style of expression is casual enough to be embarrassing for the more refined, though he's often charming enough in other ways to smooth over the worst of the ruffled feathers.

RELATIONSHIPS
OL' JENNY is the head of the Greenteeth family, so overgrown and bloated that even her powerful Water magic has some difficulty hauling her up onto the Shores for long periods. She quickly found the skydancer's antics amusing following his debut on the Shores, and it was doubtless her grating laugh that spared him a messy death at the hands of the other maren.NOTCH is the proprietor of Waysign, the Crinoline outpost just the other side of the dunes. Tyler buys most of his goods through Waysign's connections, a feat which seems beyond Tyler's capabilities, until you realise Notch has been taking way weirder orders for far less coherent people her entire life. |
