Biography
It was not easy to win Agafia's heart.
No, Cadan made it clear to everyone that they had not immediately looked at each other and a bond had snapped into place. He had not come to her with giant white wings and caves of gold. He had taken his time and had become her friend first before she admitted she felt the same way he did.
Cathan was not stupid. He knew better than to walk up to Agafia and tell her he loved her and she should marry him. His parents had not had the same experience. His father, Capricorn, was a wealthy Pearlcatcher who wanted to have descendants he could pass his treasure to. His mother was the daughter of a breeding pair. Capricorn had a habit of finding every new female he met... interesting. His mother Summersong had been a short lived relief from his work as a merchant. As soon as Summersong found out she was with eggs, she sought out her parents help. Not many dragons tolerated Capricorn, but they didn't dare say a word against him when the Pearlcatcher was around. If he was the father of eggs and neither Enchantment or Jadestorm were the mothers, he'd order the eggs to be destroyed. If orders went unheard, he'd do it himself.
