Idyllis made her way from much of her life by finding or potentially "borrowing" gems and other valuable stones. She first found this passion when she was praised by her mother as a hatchling for finding important stones while digging which could be traded for important resources. Idyllis figured if her mother thought this pass time was valuable she should keep at it! So as she aged she traveled the continent, finding gems and minerals that others may want in order to get what she desired.

In this way, Idyllis made her way to the market where she first encountered the clan. While selling her wares, Idyllis' attention was caught by an exclamation of pure joy. A male ridgeback, near her in age, was marveling over her citrine. When he looked up to ask after its price, he marveled at Idyllis in open adoration. He showered her in compliments and the two talked until long after the closing of the market. Anaster courted her for weeks before Idyllis was convinced to go back with with him to Caligulas' clan.

Ever since Idyllis has helped further the clans interest by gathering valuable gems for the clan to trade and craft with.
