Grav and Diggity in their prime, were compeditive runners. They spent many years racing, conquering the Dragon Olympics until Grav was announced the fastest bogsneak in the world (See, the yellow ribbons she wears proudly to this day) (Best in show). However, after this monumental race Grav and her brother fell down on the finish line, convulsing, gravely ill. After immediately escorted to emergency medical attention, it's revealed they were poisoned before the race, rendering them severely ill. After urgent and powerful magic, the fatal poison was extracted and the two siblings were in recovery, however, it was revealed they will never be able to race again. Their green scales mark as a reminder of their ailment, (having previously been pink, as is hinted within their markings), and the two now try to find purpose in another area of their life, and move on from this life changing experience.
