Biography
Lucky sat in a patch of clovers and watched the wild rabbits hopping around. She noticed a dragon nearby, celebrating after finding a four-leaf clover. She sighed. “Am I lucky?” she wondered aloud, her ears flattening against her skull as she stared down at her toes. “Because I sure don't feel like it.”
She frowned as her Grove Piper familiar appeared from out of nowhere and tried to cheer her up with his music. “I just wish things would go right for me once,” she murmured. "Don't you, Flix?" Flix paused in the middle of his song, tilting his head to one side as he regarded her with a worried expression.
A low noise interrupted the moment of silence. It almost sounded like the flapping of thousands of wings. A small, pale green cloud suddenly rolled into view. The flapping was clearly coming from it.
Lucky's eyes widened in fear. “Please, don’t hurt me!” she cried, turning and running while the cloud chased her. She ran until she stumbled and fell from exhaustion. She froze in fear as the cloud came closer, then seemed to split up into tiny, individual creatures.
Confused, Lucky looked closer at the cloud to find that it was just a huge group of green butterflies. They had been attracted to her because she looked just like them. Lucky chuckled softly as each butterfly danced in the air around her. This was the most beautiful sight she had discovered since the move to Dragonhome. “Maybe I am lucky after all,” she noted between breaths, smiling at last.
