Aurolias the Painter

"Oh, but the Ice can show us the colors of Light!"

Crystal Quartz Aurolias arrived to the Galiel Clan as an unhatched Egg. Lorelai and Sylvan had been foraging in the Southern Icefield, when upon their scavenging they would find the abandoned egg. It seemed it had not rotted, even though it was so far from any nest. Looking for signs of any parents, and finding none, the pair would take the egg home.
Placed in a chilled area, Aurolias waited for his day to be hatched. One day, Fallen and Toki were watching over the frozen egg because Lorelai had asked the couple to. She was worried that it hadn't hatched yet in weeks, and hoped the two could help with the egg. To the surprise of both of them, Toki could feel the vibrations within the encased ice. With bated breath they waited for it to hatch, and after a couple of days they were greeted by Aurolias. Well. He wasn't named yet, but Toki and Fallen saw his beautiful colors and decided upon his name to be Aurolias. Snow Streak Pinion
Cursed Tuft of Fur However, his health was fraught with strife. Even trying to create his pearl was a struggle, his smaller than average. He often would catch colds and was not a physically strong dragon. Stuck within his adopted parents part of the lair, and craving the beauty of the world, he took to painting.
