One's name should be chosen carefully; although sentient creatures choose their path, their introspective quest will lead them sooner or later to question their name; seeping through a magically attuned being such as a dragon, a name can become powerful.

Flames. Although he has an austere demeanor, it is almost impossible to miss the fire within the Guardian, only waiting to get out. His passion comes from a strong need for a duty, and a longing for inspiration. He likes sculpting, but his most creative moments are discreet yet appreciated around the lair. A rope tied in a different way, rearranged hoards for optimal space, a different way of doing mundane things...
Behind his sulking exterior, Uriel's mind is resourceful, and appreciated (although some mutter they could do without being glared at). He often sits still like a statue near the lair, startling newcomers when he suddendly moves to inquire of their identity.

Uriel appreciates the company of Nathaniel. The small Nocturne earned his trust, and surprisingly they tolerate eachother's sarcasm, both are known to make snarky comments at whatever they want or need to complain about, from the weather to that one particular dragon who won't stop behaving like a hatchling. Shiyer dragons avoid them, fearing their judgement, but more spontaneous dragons get surprised at how amicable they can be. Raphael sometimes joins them, his gentle demeanor and contagious laughter makes the Spiral welcome to most groups within the clan anyway.
