~Eiji~

Eiji had stayed with the Sirions long, long before he ever joined them as one. He had refused so long because he had never meant to stay with them.
He had only originally planned to stay with them for a night, but the next morning he found a wounded Hippogriff in the forest nearby the Sirion's lair, and took it back to them to cure. That took many more days than Eiji had planned, and after it felt better it wouldn't leave him alone. It kept following him around, and he stayed a few more days to try and get the Hippogriff off him. At some point, he had to accept the fact that it was fully in his debt now, and it was his Hippogriff. He named him Jaivior, and he just never found the time to leave. The Sirions needed much help, and he was very trained in, well, almost everything.
After awhile, he had a nest with Lasrie, who he had long felt had some of the most sense and natural smartness in the clan. His hatchlings, Horai, Soft, and Raven, needed him much, since Lasrie was out with the other warriors of the clan almost all day.
When they grew up, Horai and Raven left to find a new home out in the world, but Soft, an unusually rare boy with soft scales, stayed behind, and Eji realized that he couldn't leave Soft on his own, not yet. He taught Soft much, and by this time Eiji had basically lived all his life away from his home clan with the Sirions.
The Sirions had been bugging him for awhile to join them, and finally Eiji gave in and they gave him the honorary Sirion ceremony, forever binding him to them.

Eiji and Jaivior are old souls now, but he says that looking back on his first coming, he thanks Jaivior for stalling him.
