Valiona is from the wastelands of the Molten Scar. Among her flight, and their love for various gemstones, her dark, iridescent appearance gives others an endless variety of black prescious stones that she sppears to take after; Jet, Hematite, black pearls and moonstones, obsidian.
True to her flight's nature, there are few things she enjoys more than blistering heat and various prescious metals and gemstones. More often than not, she's found out on the stone slabs of the ruins around their lair, wings spread to sunbathe as she dozes in the light of the sun.
She adorns herself with various gems and metals, some are finds from her mate Ultraxion, who uncovers them during his various outings, others are of her own design.
Filigrees are her specialty, her deft claws can craft delicate and ornate pieces of jewellery that have even the haughty Pearlcatchers approaching her, inquiring about her work.
Naturally, with her work and adornments, comes Cruor, sniffing out any shiny or prescious material. Wildly territorial, she's quick to anger and slow to forgive; transgressions like Cruor's elicits a white-hot fury reminiscent of the Ashfall Waste of her birth.
Ultraxion naturally comes to her side, and her altercation with Cruor is often the catalyst of a fullscale meltdown between all the Wildclaws in the lair.
After the conflict has died down, it usually leaves Valiona where she was before, sunbathing and still growling over the recent fight, playing around with the various gems and jewels she has on hand while her tempers cool down.
She is very maternal, true to her Wildclaw nature, she only has eyes for her own brood. As with anything of her own creation, she is fiercely territorial, and her children are no exception. Possibly moreso, since she sees her hatchling as something both she and Ultraxion crafted.
Based on the Wildclaw mentality of strength and raw physical power, she is incredibly proud of her bountiful nests, and it is known she only has eyes for her fierce, strong daughters.
Asteria is her only child that has remained behind in the clan, and Valiona keeps a careful eye on her, despite her daughter's chagrin.
She is approving of Asteria's choice of mate, Qaum. She views their pairing as particularly beneficial to the growth of their family tree, which Valiona haughtily believes is the greatest among the Wildclaw's in the lair (the physically inferior breeds are beyond her notice, where pedigrees are concerned).
Valiona is dealing with the ramifications of one of her daughters, Athena, spiriting away the hatchling of Boomer and Tyrol, to the Scarred Wasteland no less. Valiona would be less interested in the matter of a non-Wildclaw, but as the Spirals refused to quiet down on the matter, Valiona responded out of necessity of avoiding her family tree's image being called into question, a matter of great importance to any Wildclaw.
Whereby she's concerned, an infected branch risks the downfall of the whole tree, and she has been certain to cut off Athena in any regards.
