This dragon was banished from his clan's lair because of how aggressive and incontrollable he was, he used to hurt other hatchlings and attack the clan's adults when he was a hatchling. Maximus found him not long after, and as usual he adopted him and tried to help him with his problems, showing him how wot keep his aggressivity under control is by meditating that Edgar has to do every morning and every evening.
It is amazing how he changed from being an aggressive rookie to a really sweet and even innocent dragon when he's not enraged. In his time on thisnclan he has even managed to get a mate. Viridis, who he loves dearly. She's probably the only dragon that he hasn't tried to attack when he suffers an aggressive episode. Those aren't so common lately.
His familiar is pretty calm and helps him with his aggressivity problems too.
Edgar in English has the following meaning, fortunate and powerful. From the Old English name Eadgar, a compound of 'ead' meaning rich or happy, and 'gar' meaning spear.
