Biography

| Lagoon | [♫] Fisherman of Aku's castle
{ "The tides beckon him" }

- The port only has enough space for 2 boats
- Has seen some things he would rather like to forget
- Tells tales of grand sea monsters and leviathans he has seen in the oceans to hatchlings that visit his market for fresh fish.
- His boat is called Lorene
-Takohiki was assigned by one of the servants to help lagoon prepare his fish before it is brought to Akushin's castle
-parents were from outside the clan and decided to stay to try and catch the large sea creature, it ended horribly leaving Lagoon behind.
-Lagoon decided to stay at aku clan because Akushin treats him well and he does not really have anywhere to go

Lagoon was appointed as the lead and sole fisherman of Akushin's clan. Coming from a family of fishermen and sailors from outside the clan, Lagoon has a unique name and accent that does not fit the others. He has a tendency to talk like a pirate, as that was how his family members spoke. Being one of the only dragons part of the clan that is actually allowed to leave the castle and even live outside it, he is naturally an outcast, but that is how he likes it. Akushin took a great liking to him after he found out about Lagoon's fishing abilities and pays him a handsome amount. Lagoon of course, spend it all on fishing equipment.

Lagoon had set his stand up at the market of a neigbouring wind clan, he liked to travel there occasionally to sell fish he had caught on the way. Suddenly a small spiral hatchling stood infront of his stand, one he had never seen before.

"Ah, little one, what might bring you here? Care for any of these fish I be catchin'?"

The hatchling kept silent and gave no answer.

"Hmm... Perhaps you came here to hear some of this old fisherman's tales?"

The little spiral seemed intrigued and slowly nodded her head.

"Alright! Listen here little one, it is unlucky to sail a ship that has not been named, it be true! It be true! One fair night many monsoons ago, I be fishin' on these very seas you see infront of you! Truth be told, it was an unwise idea to go fishin' that night. The rain was mighty and the mists were thick, but weather like that is the perfect conditions for catching the coveted Giant Oarfish!"

The tundra spread his arms to convey the size of the fish. The little spiral hatchling seemed to be eager to hear the rest of the story.

"Now, you may be lookin' at me boat and thinkin' she may not be much, you'd be wrong! I sailed through many storms and waves with this beauty, she would be able to handle this storm like any other, I tell you! Through those thick mists I couldn't see much.. But then I saw it! A peculiar fin breached the water's surface!"

Lagoon wagged his tail in an exaggerated manner, almost causing one of the fish to fall off his stand.

"Even through the gloom of the night, it was hard to miss! Every fisherman would know that t'was a big catch! Hahaha! How wrong I could ever be!"

Though the fisherman was laughing, the little spiral could still detect the faintest hint of fear and regret.

"Right then and there, the water erupted around my beautiful Lorene! I had never known such fear before. T'was not a Giant Oarfish, but a monster! A Leviathan! I could swear on me good eye, I even saw tentacles too! Forget about any Oarfish, I could not possibly lose Lorene here, so I be throwin' me fishin' spears at this horrid creature! Perhaps it was fate, or perhaps it was sheer luck, but we managed to get away!

Before then, my beautiful Lorene was still unnamed. The leviathan's attack be inspirin' me to name her! After that I swore an oath to never sail those waters again, perhaps it be for the best, indeed, indeed."
