Like her father, Helios, Sunbeam is a Light dragon with all her heart. Her favorite time of the year is summer and she loves sunshine-y days, the sun, and light in all its forms. Her fascination with the sun and light isn't that of a scholar, though. Unlike her father, Sunbeam isn't interested in studying the sun and the sky, it's her heart that draws her to the light and makes her want to feel it, to be as close to it as she can, and to revel in it. Her greatest joy is to fly as close to the sun as she can on a bright day, chase sunbeams through white clouds and endless blue sky, see the world spread out like a colorful carpet far beneath her, and watch reflected sunlight sparkle and dance on the water of the sea. She also loves sunbathing high up on the cliffs, on the Beacon of the Radiant Eye, or on the highest branches of a Redwood tree. She has built her nest high up on a balcony on the Beacon of the Radiant Eye, not wanting to waste a moment of sunlight by spending time inside the walls.
