Kritota is stoic, to say the least. She doesn’t say much of anything, so a lot of the information gathered about her is from looks and gossip alone. It’s not hard to understand, however, that she has something of a refined taste. This is probably why she was appointed treasurer, as she seems to know a lot about, well, treasure. All her apparel looks rather expensive, and there’s a rumor going around that she takes a small amount from the treasury every once in a while. How else could she get enough treasure to buy all that? In actuality, however, the dragon in particular who started that rumor just didn’t know how to manage money nearly as well as she does. She’s got an impeccable budget for herself personally and the clan as a whole, and financial ruin would certainly be more likely if she weren’t around.

Kritota‘s rather tall, as Ridgebacks go, which makes her appear kind of intimidating. This, coupled with her habit of silence and still nature gives hatchlings quite a fright. Truly, she’s just a very quiet dragon with a reserved way of thinking. She says only what needs to be said and barely ever chips in an opinion in discussion. She just feels it’s not her job to unless it’s asked of her. Kritota does have opinions, most of them fair, she just doesn’t share them.

She grew up in a clan of dragons who valued knowledge, and knowing how to handle money was part of what she learned there. She eventually moved away and joined another clan to get a taste of other places and maybe pass on some of the knowledge. Her previous clan mates were atheists of sorts; they questioned. As a result of living in there for so long, one of her philosophies is that exalting shouldn’t have to exist. Dominance, in her mind, is a meaningless squabble between deities who all have the perfect capability to get along. She turns a blind eye to the hatchlings that are exalted by her clan and hopes for a different future sometime soon.
