PROTECTOR OF THE NESTS

Backstory: Glaw was born within the wondrous waters of the Fishspine reef. However, by some fluke of nature, Glaw was born without the ability to breath or swim well under water. His parents, panicking, quickly swam him up to the surface where they came across a large merchant ship. They begged the captain to take Glaw in since they could not raise him, and the captain kindly agreed. As a result, Glaw spent most of his early years within the confines of the ship, learning the trade quickly and efficiently but yearning for something more.

The Beauty: One day Glaws captain decided to grant passage to a lovely ridgeback by the name of Blodeuwedd. Glaw became quite taken at the very sight of her, and quickly worked his charm to win her over. She decided to stay on the ship as his mate for several years, though eventually she asked Glaw if they could leave to find somewhere else to settle. Nervous about leaving the only home he had ever had, but also excited, Glaw agreed, and the pair left for the Viridian Labyrinth.

The Nest Guard: Upon arrival, Glaw and Blodeuwedd came across the Clan of the Shaded Wood when it had first moved into the Shrieking Wilds. Their matriarch Winona quickly asked the pair to join on the condition that they would help protect and care for the clan's newly established nesting grounds. They agreed, and Glaw was eager to prove himself to his new clan. He dutifully guards the nesting grounds, chasing away beastclans and other wily dragons when necessary. As a result of his hard work, the clan has not lost a single egg to theft or attack since his joining.
