SPEARROW Clever | Willful | Watched Arcane Fool / Scholar Spearrow had his own place in the Manor, just like everyone else. He may have not been the most important scholar or even the one who people went to for magical help. Jahl was easily the best scholar- no one would be stupid enough to even try and displace the fae. Starseeker was the one that everyone went to for magical help and Spearrow was more than fine to let her take that burden. The Runesmith was smart enough to handle the complicated issues that everyone in the Manor seemed to be burdened with. Spearrow enjoyed the fact that his place in the Manor was simply a scholar. Not the best, not the brightest, but certainly an eye-catching one. He wasn't a stranger to feeling eyes on his scales when he sat himself at one of the many wooden tables in the Library to pour over the scrolls that he had brought from his home clan. |
La Dame Blanche Manor had been his respite and the only place that would take him after his flight from his original clan. Spearrow had tried a few clans before landing at the Manor, and all of them had chased him out for his crimes against the Arcanist. But it wasn't his fault that the Deity was following him, it wasn't his fault that he had read things that no mortal being should ever read. They had all chased him out the second that they found out that he was a wanted man, but not the Manor. Indeed he was among friendly faces in the Manor. He wasn't the only one on the run from one of the Eleven- honestly he wasn't even one of the worst offenders. Though the Arcanist's effect on him tended to draw the eye, Spearrow was allowed to fade into the background when compared to other denizens in the Manor. He could spend his days in the Library- pouring over whatever old Arcane tomes had been brought to the Manor. After all, he had already gotten cursed for his knowledge- why not continue his search? |
