Biography
Everyone has their role in Adavar, and Pandora's is to seed fear into the hearts of wily hatchlings and prepare them for life outside the safe confines of the nesting grounds. While they are being readied for the descent into Adavar's dark caves and their exposure to its hierarchal structure, Emerald represents the firm hand of the matriarch whose rules they must -even if unwillingly- abide by, and Pandora is the hungering shadows who they will only have the misfortune of meeting if they do not.
Although her appearance might suggest otherwise, Pandora is rather the sweet and innocent type, though of course she did not always look this way and one look at her growth (or lack thereof) seems to suggest she did something to earn her miniature size.
When inquiring about her small stature, Pandora will always utter these four mysterious words:
"I angered a wizard..." and nothing else.
For now, you'll have to take that as fact...
If you get close enough to be her friend, perhaps Pandora will reveal to you that after her sudden change her then-young and already distant mother Nausicaa could no longer recognise little Pandora as her own and-- feeling scornful and abandoned, the guardian stumbled foolishly into the maze of tunnels unlit by the keeper's lanterns. Before the gnawing dark could reach her, salvation came in the form of an unlikely pair who, against their nature, took to nurturing her mind the best they could; to an outsider, it was the most basic form of care, but to Pandora it provided a relationship no one else could give her. Krasimir and Kairos had resided in the caves long before Nocturne and Rosekeep had staked claim to it and moved the clan into its depths, and no one had ever seen them or heard them -not until it was too late, at least. The light of the lanterns never touched them but nor did the ravenous shadows; they never asked her to bring them food and Pandora had never seen them eat nor drink, when she was young she wondered why that was, but as she grew - passing between the golden glow of the well-worn tunnels and the rough and narrow branches of her parents "territory" - she began to understand the myths surrounding the disappearances of those who ventured too far into where they did not belong.
