Biography

It was early morning when the horizon peaked shined through the trees, it’s vivid lavender and light pink colors replacing the dark night. The small forest clan bustled about between markets. The guards took their positions as the night watchers went back home. This was how it usually was in Wind clan. But occasionally, the new arrival of hatchlings got everyone excited. Five eggs were about to hatch as the two parents stood by anxiously. “Do you think that odd colored egg will be ok Moulin?” asked Rouge, a female Coati with quite an interesting coat. “Hmm...I believe it will make it.” Moulin answered. A few minutes passed by as the clan gathered around. “You know, I’ve seen the Light Flight’s eggs this color. You two sure you didn’t find this egg-laying around?” an elder Wind member asked. “No! It’s mine. I’m sure of it. Maybe there’s something wrong-“. A hatchling’s egg tooth pierced the eggshell. “They’re hatching!” cried the members. Within an hour, all the hatchlings were out of their shells. “Wow, they’re going to look beautiful once their feathers grow in!” a young Wild Claw hatching said. “The odd colored egg, hatchling looks just like the rest, maybe it was just the light playing tricks,” Moulin said. “Perhaps, we should get them home and fed, darling” Rouge said in a really happy tone.
A few weeks pass as the hatchlings continued to grow and one day, they’re able to see the world for the first time. “Moulin, there’s something off about Brosmonto’s eyes. They’re..not the normal green a Wind hatchling should have. In fact, they’re a yellowish-green! What..wait. You were a traveler who joined Wind flight 2 years ago. What are you really Moulin?” “I’m an Assassin from the Light, my dear. I am sorry I fooled you and the clan but, my duty lies in destroying the WingSinger for the Light to shine.” Moulin muttered low, feeling ashamed.
“Guards, seize him.”
A decade passes by as Moulin spends the rest of his days behind bars. Within 10 years, Brosmonto grew up. He wasn’t as respected by other Wind members however, his bravery and calm nature provided him a spot as commander over the Wind army. “Raise your heads to the sky, my siblings. Let the wind howl through your feathers. Let it carry you through this battle. Let it heal your broken bones, your gashes, and your soul. Let it renew your hope. For tonight, we fight. Not just for our home, but for those who were once lost and abandoned. For the Wind!” boomed Brosmonto. His voice echoed over the canyon. The Wind army cheered in response to their Commander. The war lasted 27 days. But to him, only 24 days. “You should have seen it Brosmonto!!! It was hilarious! Your wings were ripped to shreds, in the air! You couldn’t fly ha! Serves you right Half Wind.” chuckled the spectral male snapper. “Haha, Old Grouch. And I suppose you’re any better than me? Heck, you destroyed half of the Beast clans.” “That’s just an old myth boy but, myths could be legends” “You’re a dead headache” “Well lad, I suppose you better get back to your witchery classes. If you need anything, don’t ask me.” “See you later.” The Imperial spent his days taking magic classes. He was very intrigued by power. Not just regular power but the potential to cast spells and even bring back the dead! These uncanny abilities interested him. He was only beginning to understand the elements of the skill. Heck, he couldn’t even get past floating a rock. Sure, commanding a pebble to pierce through the scales of a RidgeBack sounded epic but, is it effective? The days were usually plain until these practices. One night, however, was different. He felt his soul begin to fade as if it was teleporting. It startled him, quite a bit. He didn’t think much of it until the next day when it kept happening, again and again, each night. This cycle continued on for two weeks until he couldn’t resist the urge. His whole body faded as if it were made out of shadows. His spirit levitated to the topsoil, holding on to his soul for dear life. As he reached the top, his body wasn't transparent anymore. In fact, it was all intact. Just like it was before that fateful day. He looked up to see a white Imperial female drake with chestnut brown feathers. She looks like she was doing..magic? Had she summoned him? How did she bring him back to life? “Um..hello?” he asked a bit uneasy. The female’s eyes widened and she stopped chanting the spell. “Holy Newt eyes..it worked!! You..you're here! You’re alive!!” She flapped her wings happily and cackled. “I brought a dead dragon back to life. Me, Neve the Necromancer.” “Your name is Neve?! I heard of you in class!! Could you mentor me, please?! I would do anything. I would really love to learn from a necromancer such as yourself with your skill level! You brought me back to life and as repayment, I devote my life to being your apprentice.” Brosmonto pleaded. Neke looked at the commander with shock and curiosity. “You must have cobwebs stuck in your skull but, yes. You could be quite useful to me.” “Thank you!! Where do I begin?” “You can get some apparel on first to look more presentable instead of a rotting corpse” “Oh, yes, you’re right.” “Apparel is in the closet, I will meet you upstairs.”
Years passed as the Mentor and Apprentice learn more about the supernatural together. They became very close friends to where the apprentice will die all over again to save his Mentor. He trusted her enough and believed in her enough to bring him back. He would do the same for her after all.
