    Innate magical capabilities was what prompted the hatchling's mother to keep him - choosing to take in her son as an apprentice rather then selling him off. Nesomimus is often doted upon by his mother - a constant reassurance of his talents leading the dragon to become awfully withdrawn. Forcibly made to train, the drake often wishes he could just retreat to the riverbanks he loves to play in. A strangely frail body is the prime factor to all his nicknames - other dragonets taking a liking to bullying the young Skydancer. This is where his mother's faith diminishes, the construct reminding her offspring that a powerful magician wouldn't be ridiculed. This lifestyle is harmful to the young dragon, and a large reason why he remains so withdrawn.
