Safe Journey!
I do wish you well on the journey from the Viridian Labyrinth to the Tangled Wood. I know some would say my elemental heritage of plague should argue that the Labyrinth is the last place I should feel at home – but indeed I do.
I have made what some might consider an odd move; down from the rather lofty heights of the Shrieking Wilds to the Everbloom Gardens. Speaking of my elemental heritage, this is not far from the remnants of Pox Consulate, and perhaps someday I will investigate.
I have been welcomed warmly by Matriarch Moonrun, a Tundra of few words – even for a Tundra, and by First Consort WitCloud who is very verbose and has a fondness for telling good stories and making terrible puns. I’ve been encouraged (well, it was more like insistence) to explore the Coli by Battlemaster Ossia and I am finding it quite exhilarating. Now I wonder why I never tried it before?
Please stay safe!

Hello!
I do hope this letter reaches you, as I understand that the clan journey to shadow will start “soon” but of course that means different things to different dragons.
I had hoped to find a place to stay within the Viridian Labyrinth, and indeed I have. It is located technically within the Everbloom Gardens. I say technically as it is quite close to the remains of the ill-omened Pox Consulate. Matriarch Moonrun and First Consort WitCloud have been most welcoming, and the lair itself is an incredible mix of styles; parts underground, parts in trees (and yes, there is a treehouse for the hatchlings) and warding maintained by ferociously gentle Gaolers.
I once tried to ask Moonrun why this location. You may have noted that some Tundra will answer most anything with a comment along the lines of “it smelled like home”, and she is no different. But new clan-sib HeliodorBlade had some interesting comments. It is his contention that Moonrun, and those like her who deliberately cultivate diversity in their clans (as an aside the first dragon she welcomed from another flight was from Plague) are a signal that the Shade will return and that unity will be needed to face it (or them?). He is implacable in his defense of her unshakable welcome.
On a lighter note, some of my clan-sibs have decided to create a sort of presentation for the festivals. We have come up with some fortune telling type costumes and dance. The hatchlings really enjoy it, and it’s quite fun. Oddly, when dancing, KaguraBoliday has made some really startlingly accurate predictions. Probably it’s just coincidence.
Stay safe and good journey!
