Born on a fateful day, Miraggio bore the sign times were changing. The odd hue of his eyes seemed nothing special, but he was the first hatchling born before the Change. The former Shadow Clan consider him an emissary of the New Age, but the Lighting Born members of the clan are skeptical. It is undeniable Sornieth is no more what it used to be, though, and while Emperors roar in the distance, they are left wondering what will be of their land...

While growing up, Miraggio thought to be unique. His eyes were a different tint, a small change, but it was a novelty for the clan. Cyan eyes were the norm, and that convinced him it was a sign. He was proud of his nature, to the point where he believed to be destined to discover the truth about Sornieth's unclear fate. As soon as he was old enough, Miraggio left the safety of his clan to study the odd phenomena travelers reported.

The truth hit him soon enough, forcing him to abandon his dreams of greatness. Several dragons wore evident signs of Elemental Magic, which made his mutation seem insignificant. Refusing to accept his mediocrity, Miraggio began to lie about his identity, insinuating to be the heir of a noble family, burdened with the complex task of saving his lair.

According to his version of the story, he's looking for a spell powerful enough to protect the territory from the aftermaths of the catastrophe. He is looking for a form of magic, but for himself. His clan has no idea of what happened to him, as he stopped communicating with them shortly after his departure.

Eventually, he lost he met Zaffiera's group. Unable to find a path of his own but unwilling to go back, he decided to join them. He is still uncomfortable with their life style, but he's trying to adapt.
