A cryptid, she can't be identified as any creature known to science. Some call her the Leech of the Woods due to her terrifying ability. Dashi feeds off of relationships. If the relationship between two beings is strong and positive, her feeding is unlikely to do any harm. But if there's any degree of stress between them, her feeding off of their relationship can sometimes cause enough stress to turns things truly sour.

She does not do this on purpose though. Despite how she looks she isn't the most sapient of creatures, not very different from the birds and beasts in intelligence. She's curious and friendly, unaware of what her existence does to many. The clan are instructed to stay away from her forest, and if they must go to only ever go alone. She does no harm to someone on their own, it's when two dragons that know each other are within her presence that things get rocky.
