Inside the room, the bronze polished floor is split in half and water flows through it, water lilies and small fish flicker above and beneath the water's surface. Layered rugs of dark red and brown cover the floor, to one side bookshelves laden with candles and papers line one wall, open inkpots and a series of bottles with long labels cover a writing desk. As you enter rolls of pink and silver smoke curl up the doorframe and glide across your scales. The imperial dragon preoccupied with the work beneath his claws's ears flick up at the sound of someone calling but he simply blinks and speaks"Tea for the mind perhaps?" As you answer the dragon continues to busy himself, the silks cluster together further down and you feel a tug of curiosity pull at you. "So why are you here? Perhaps you ask after a spell, I have recently perfected a message spell held in a body of water for some time, think like a message in a bottle just the bottle doesn't exist" the dragon moves his head smoke pouring from his jaws, "Do you have a question, an answer, an observation, do tell?"

The dragon nodded his head, "ah, right let's see... I was young when I left home to become a mage's apprentice, busy with herbs, busy with cures I was always busy until I saved a king from death. It was simple really draw the death card see what is about to come. I seared my lungs saving him" he raises a claw to the bloody bandages wound around his chest. "To save him I had to hurt others, I won't speak of what I did young traveller I do not know your intentions but I heed your mind to know that if any empire dares to strike the Council of Aver, the remnants of my dear friend King Czerns legacy I will fight fire with hellfire and leave nothing to rise again."

The dragon stills as if the sun lowering, warm red light reflecting in the now long shadows had drawn his energy from him.
