His royal upbringing sometimes bleeds into his mannerisms and appearance despite his desire to keep such details secret.

Drinking tea might not solve any problems, but the process of brewing and serving it, and then holding the cup as it cools, never fails to give his hands something to do.

PAST
'The King of the Forest' — that's what his father was called — both by their subjects and by the clans nearby. The weight of his father's rule fell heavy on Kelki's shoulders, however. Insatiably curious from a young age, the spiral discovered early on what his father had done under the influence of magic. He'd visited the graves of the hundreds of dragons — even clan ambassadors — slain by his father's general. He'd paced his way around the opaline castle, forever scarred by the overgrown ivy that had almost crumbled its walls entirely.

Eventually, the young dragon couldn't take the history of his family any longer, and ventured out to find a new home — hopefully somewhere far away from the turmoil of the Fletching Clan and the Tree Children.
