The tiny half-Fae was hatched under the light of a waxing gibbous moon, just minutes before clouds crossed and hid the light from his still-hatching siblings. Under the light of the moon, Gibbous appears like any normal Fae, albeit with an unusual shine to his pale, icy eyes. But when the sun shines upon him, his ghostly nature is shown; his scales become faded, and one can almost see movements of the things behind him. Because of his, Gibbous is a very reclusive sort, preferring to hide away in his caves during the day, and only appearing to others at night. Most regard him with mild suspicion, if not outright fear, but he does have some good friends. It is to those he shows himself above all others, and they welcome him, ghost and all.

Gibbous had made his way to wasted hallows after many rejections from others. The council had given the small Fae a home in the lair mostly so they could for see how the his "condition" continued as he got older. it wasn't long before new changes occurred in the fae's life. Gibbous' eye were the first to change. the pupils dissipated into a light blue that soon caused the eyes to glow. Ice started to form around his body. silver transparent chains wrapped around his wings weighing him down. the air around him dropped in in temperature till snow swirled to life around him.

with his shy nature and now this ice condition of his those who were once tolerant of his company now would barely look at him. one dragon though stayed by his side. The large imperial Tobi scarred the little fae for the first few weeks. He never let Gibbous out of his masked sight and would wrap around him at night. Tobi's warmth kept the cold at bay and soon the little fae became custom to his new companion. he could feel the rest of the clans eyes on them every time Tobi would whisper to him in his quiet sweet voice.
