Talon
"A dragon is clever by his answers. A dragon is wise by his questions."


Talon could not be more different than most wizard types. Rather than being mysterious and elderly, he is jovial and warm, in the prime of his life. Talon is the delight of his fellows, and manages to even make friends with those who struggle to understand his whistling, parrot-like blend of coatl and the common tongue. His magical talents lend towards showmanship over battle; he charms and amuses his clan mates with illusions, temporary shape shifting, mind-tricks and displays of beauty.

Talon’s primary tutor is forever frustrated. He insists that Talon take his role more seriously; “A wizard must advise, must ensure better crops and better crafting, and to defend and protect. Not act like a fool! You have that - ” and here he would gesture angrily to the floating, glowing sphere at Talon’s side “- and you use it like a jester’s staff!”

If any of that permeates Talon’s mask, he doesn’t show more than a twinkling of his eyes. The full level of his talent remains unknown and unseen. Perhaps, if ever there was need of it, Talon would surprise them all.
