Eilonwy is a friendly dragon, always more than willing to escort travelers through the Tangled Wood or to their destination within. Her sense of danger is somewhat skewed, however—she finds ghosts and monsters of all kinds to be 'cute' and is easily charmed by them. But, due to her playful nature, she tends to befriend trickster-like spirits with ease and has many friends among the local phantom population.

Between her flock of fireflies illuminating the area around her and her ability to pass through even dangerous territory unharmed by the specters living there, she is an ideal guide through the darkness of the woods... Just as long as she doesn't stop to chat with her friends, of course.

Highly distractible, Eilonwy has occasionally paused for some games and conversation with the shades, only to find her guests have disappeared upon her return. She is never quite sure where they've gone, and while she does make an effort to find them again, once lost they are typically gone for good—and her friends feeling much more lively because of it.
