Ajattara ran, hearing the cakle of the thing hunting her. She didn't know where she was.
It was getting close. Sound it made were evident. She had not seen it. It had hit her wing, and she knew she could not fly well with it. She ran and tried to keep low. She was large enough to make stop a lot of animals from trying to kill her. It was not faced by her size or spikes.

"LEAVE ME ALONE!" she shriekked. She hoped it would sound angry enough to make it go away. But cakle got even more mad and she could feel it's gaze on her. She heard it voise. Raspy, distorted and seepping with wickedness, it spoke: "Run. Run lil' one. I'll give you headstart. You just may survive. Othervice, I will eat you!"

She darted away. The cakle of sounded like it was coming from everywhere. She ran. Maybe she could out run it. After time that felt like lifetime, she stopped.
I must hide, she tought. She was darting for pile of rocks when something heavy landed right behind her.
"There you are"
She dashed into the pile trying to fit in with her spines.
"Easy, easy. I'm sorry that I starled you."
She looked the new commer. Purple guardian female did not seem hostile.
"My name is Selina. What is yours?"
Ajattara started crying. Selina came next to her putting her wing on top of her.
"There litle one. There. You are safe."
