True to her roots, BloodBloom has always been intrigued by illness and injuries. She loved to see what roots and leaves helped or hindered a familiar, making her SilverClaw's least favorite dragon. Nightwatcher implored that she uses her knowledge to help her clan but she initially refused. She was just fine with experimenting on any poor creature she got her hands on until Soulmother became ill. Until then, Soul had been taking care of injuries and illness in the clan. But she could not identify her own illness. The clan feared for their matriarch's life until Bloom stepped in. She had seen it before in Duskrats wandering the area. Figuring that She ate an infected rat she spent countless days treating the illness. She succeeded in her efforts and soulmother was as good as new. Soon sick and injured dragons began visiting her for treatment, despite her protest.
