Long ago, two dragons emerged from the ice in the east of the Southern Ice fields. They wandered the land for many years, trudging through the cold of the powdery snow.
That was, until they met each other.

Their ice-like scales glittered in what little sunlight filtered through the snowstorms, an oddity to some clans around them. That moment, they decided they would spread their colors throughout the Ice territory, and perhaps reach places beyond that someday. They named themselves Ice and Cube. To this day, they hope to spread their lineage to faraway lands, whatever it takes for them to do so.

Much time has past since the fateful day that Ice and Cube met, and from their desires spawned hatchlings of the most majestic colors. The light which refracted off of their scales inspired their children who had born into this Ice Legacy. Once such child, Frostbite, loved the ice so much that she renounced her flight. She longed to be surrounded by colors that mirrored her own, and so she left. Never to return again.

Though it was not easy, Frostbite made it to The Southern Icefield. Alone and hungry, she wandered for 3 days and 3 nights until she collapsed. Exhausted and homesick Frostbite lost consciousness in a cold and unforgiving expanse. When she awoke, her eyes fell upon the most stunning dragon she had ever seen. His name was Bedwyn, and they fell in love.

Strange as it was, they never once questioned their feelings, and they never once allowed the prejudices of others tear them apart. Their's was a story of struggle and compromise, of loss and learning, and when the time came for them to settle down, they had no doubt that their children would continue on, The Ice Legacy.
