A note from Alastra:
Hello! Nightlock's a bit of a weirdo, but I hope you’ll enjoy him. He enjoys milkweed... for whatever reason. He’s a thief, but I’m sure that’s just because he was in the forest. Anyways, how he does well in his new home, and call us if there are any problems!
LOG:
DAY ONE
Well, the new clan seems friendly. No one has asked questions about my plants (with theexeption exception of a dragon covered in roses), almost everyone is nice and helpful, and I’m already feeling welcum welcome (curse my ilitracy illitracy gah!). I even know for a fact that they were warned of my theevery thievery, and yet they don’t appear to care (although I’m beginning to suspect one is a thief himself). So far, so good.
My plants haven’t bothered me that much. A nicegardner gardener fae is helping me prune them, and with all my nerves working, I feel normal. The heelers healers did something funny to the slits on my wings and tell me they will heal soon.
The only this I miss about theforrest forest is Wisteria. I hope she writes me a leter letter when she’s free.
Note, Nightlock is still in recovery from his ordeal, so he may have forgotten some writing techniques. Even so, I doubt he was entirely literate. Please do not judge because he is trying his best. By the way, this is Spectre who is speaking right now and helping with grammar.
DAY 2
Today the leaders, Bauble and Istra, are helping me find anu new home and job. I gess guess it’s something I need, but what job is there? Border patrol? My plants could get in the way. Alkemist Alchemist? Again, plants would get in the way. Librarian? I can’t really reed read well...
Seeker thinks I’d make a greatgardner gardener (AGAIN), but honestly, I never want to see another plant again. Spectre says I should intern a council member, but I’m not so sure. I mean, they’re still looking for a fire reprezentativ representative, but would they take me seriously? I’m a thief who is two days fresh from a social experiment. That, and I’m not into politics. I just want a simple life.
As for a home, right now, I’m living in a house that a spiral lived in before she moved, but it’s a little... small. I canbearly barely fit in the doorway. It’s also very... dark. I want a house with lots of windows, that way I can get lots of sunlight. I mean, I personally like the dark, but I feel more enerjetik energetic in the sun. Probably because of my plants.
Which brings me back to the jobishyu issue. I can’t bi buy a custom house if I don’t have money. I get money for a job. So what do I do?
DAY 3
I have found a solution to both problems! Well, kind of.
I talked to Bauble again, and herekomended recommended that I build my own house. Since I’m not an experienced carpenter, the local arkitext architects are helping me, and I’ll pay them when I get a real job. He also said that this project will give me ecsperience experience, and people who are hiring love experience.
I guess that’s all I have torite write for today. I’ll be busy for today and the following days with my house, so these entrys entries will be shorter.
DAY 4
Rite Right now, my house is just in the planning stage, so I have more free time to write. That doesn’t mean I have interesting things to write abowt about. I chose my wood and marble colors today, as well as my gardin garden picks. Wisteria sent me some milkweed (bless her sole soul), so that’s the first thing I’ll plant.
In my free time, I brushed up on my archery skills, with the help of a fae named Akita (there are a lot of faes here). I also didsum some hunting and gathering. Other than that, nothing interesting, I suppoze suppose.

To Wisteria,
Helloagen again! This is Nightlock - from the forest. Remember me? Some lady named Alastra sent me a messej message saying you were free. I thought I could send you a letter? But I’m not entirely literet literat good at writing, so...
First of all, how are you? I’m glad you’ve survived the plants, and hope that you didn’t grow any more, but it’s still been atleest least 4 days since we’ve spoken. I hope you’re enjoying your new clan as much as I enjoy mine. Are they friendly?
Second, how were things in the forest last you saw? I might not be interested in being with or evenspeeking speaking to the other dragons, but I am still interested in how they fared. Is Maple okay, and that little fae? Is there anyone nu new?
And finally, I guess I shood should stop asking questions and maybe go over what I’m doing. As they may have told you, I am in arcane, morespesifikally specifically the Starwood Strand. Most dragons here are frendly friendly and accepting, but there are always the odd ones out. Like me. I don’t have a job at the moment, but I can get food eesily easily... I mean, it does grow on my arms.
That’s all with me.Pleez Please respond soon, or else I’ll be worried that something happened to you. Maybe. Or you’re just busy with your new home. Anyway, in summary, I’m glad you made it owt out alright and hope your new clan serves as a better home. And I also hope we keep in touch.
(P.S. If you ever need to prune your milkweed and have a bunch that you don’tno know what to do with it, send it over here! Please and thank you)
Sinseerly Best wishes,
Nightlock

Hello Nightlock,
My time spent here on these islands has been... interesting thus far. Some very nice gardener has pruned my milkweed, but it seems this clan is a safe haven for birds. I happen to have antlers perfect for perching on. I’m covered in birds at the moment. Nevertheless, I think that proper air conditioning is a blessing compared to that wretched hut in the woods. The clan is traveling around Sornieth, and the leader says next month we’ll fly over lightning territory. Some of the dragons are already complaining about static, but I can’t wait to see home!
Next, there was a new arrival that showed up the day after you left. Her name is Wormwood but... she went missing the day after she arrived and then came back in the body of a mannequin. I don’t know. Maple and Lithops are doing alright, and seem to be able to handle things on their own. Well... hmm.. they might not make it. We’ll have to see.
Anyways, I’ve enclosed a fresh bundle of milkweed for you to munch on. (Yeah. I saw you.) Enjoy Arcane, and maybe you can plant these clippings so you can harvest your own.
Sincerely,
Wisteria
