Fosha and Val study lost, holy chords in the Annex. They meet rarely and their unions are cordial and grateful, if not exactly passionate. They are each of them too in love with the world and its mysteries to settle, but the desert nights are long and cold - especially when the Sphinxsong pierces from the distant past through an unsuspecting heart. Music commands passion, but love? Surely, there is no beast who knows love well enough to play it.
Familiar: Fragile Flutterbun (Giddy)
A double-souled guardian who works with Yurd to procure...deals, whatever that means. One half of her is ruthless with their zealotry, living so strongly for the glory of their deity that when they died, they would not rest and sought rebirth instead. The other half is Val. And perhaps she's not so bad once you get to know her.
Their second soul once worked as a team with another dragon, stealing eggs to sell them along with regular AH sniping. While the other submitted to their end, this soul did not. Ironic that they should find themselves working with Yurd again in this life.
Following the clan's exodus from the Blacksands, Val elected to explore the desert...as one does. Her second self seems strangely quiet these days, even disillusioned with dominance after witnessing the Sphinx's ancient rites of mourning, and her apparent death. She's quite keen on learning more about these Beasts and the Shade, and she spends most of her time scavenging ruins in the deep cold of the desert night. Somewhere along the way, however, she's crossed paths with a very sunny soul. They've yet to officially meet, but they leave notes and trinkets for one another and appear to be dedicated to similar quests.
Val has no interest in the Search and is somewhat unsettled by that. She realizes however that often a Charge can only be recognized once a guardian truly knows what is important to her. And after everything, she is not certain just yet about all that.
