Ravriel is the only daughter of Rowan and Kastiel of Clan Wicked Wings of The Observatory. She is also of the sacred Line of Josa, meaning she is a descendant of Clan Wicked Wing's leader, Josa, and is the tenth generation away from her. Almost no other line within the clan is as long as hers, so it's treated with reverence.

Ravriel especially has been given a place of high honor, not only being named after Josa's daughter who was exalted too young, but by also being declared Heir Apparent to the clan if Josa ever decides to step down. Because of this honor she has been training to take on the role since she was a hatchling, given the finest adornments and some of the finest treatment. It's made her somewhat haughty though, to other clanmates' displeasure. Many even think she needs something major in her life to happen to make her humble, or maybe a mate to tame her down.

Either way, she currently can afford her aloofness since her ancestor hasn't pressured her into a role, but only time will tell what will become of Ravriel.
