SELPHIE - Flower Witch
In the garden of the Moon Siren Coven, most of the plants are menacing things. Mushrooms drip with poison, vines slither up the creaking trees, and the few flowers that dot the earth seem to wither and wilt even as they grow more potent.
Yet there is a corner that defies expectation, a corner with a rare patch of sun beaming down through the dense trees, and within it, there is life. There is also Selphie, who has made the garden her home. Wherever she goes, sunshine seems to follow, though perhaps that is just a matter of her bright disposition, her innate cheer. She is as luminous and lively as her beloved piece of the coven's garden, and not a soul around fails to benefit from her joyful generosity.
Most days, she can be found tending the fruits and flowers that burst through the earth in search of sun, coaxing them forth despite their gloomy surroundings. Most dragons think of her as a witch with a gift for growing, as would be appropriate for a resident of the coven, but Selphie insists she possesses no magic that cannot be learned. It's simply kindness, shared freely and with love. Sometimes, it takes the form of watering flowers during dry spells, or bringing fresh soil to the garden. Other times, it means leaving bouquets outside dens, or single stems left artfully in nests. Even crunchy insect casseroles left in a bed of fragrant leaves are not out of the question (though admittedly, Selphie prefers to make these for herself).
No matter the shape it takes, though, there is happiness at its core, the kind that only comes from hearts so full that they spill over into the lives of everyone nearby. Selphie refuses to offer anything less.
