Biography
Amethyst is proud, stubborn, and strong. She fights for glory; the praise of the dragons in attendance at the coliseum makes her feel like a giant, and keeps her coffers comfortably packed with wealth. It is well-earned praise! She started life as the runt of her clutch, fighting the others for food and warmth. Picking fights with dragons and monsters bigger than her became a habit. With every fight, she grew, and grew, until she was massive in her own right.
A little humbleness might do her good, however; she underestimates little creatures, forgetting that they can sometimes be the most dangerous. She forgets - maybe wants to forget - that she fit that description, once upon a time. This flaw caused her to ignore the threat of an onyx cobra, leading to her being bitten. You’d think that carrying gembond would remind her to not make the same mistake twice, but instead, the shiny gems only remind her of what more she could accomplish in the Coliseum.
