TempestDisorder was found as an egg during SugarSand's migration away from their old plague home. Taken in by the now healthy Sholka, Tempest instantly took to the electricity of Lightning, and the task of maintaining and recording information about the spires. His wings are scorched with soot from constant lightning strikes, and the hard gem-like scales over his body store and disperse electric charges, allowing him to be struck by lightning and extreme electrical shocks and be completely unharmed apart from some scorch marks.

Tempest first noticed Leviathan when he followed them back to Sugarsand that first night. He thought him to be a little unnerving and creepy but tried not to judge. It was only when Leviathan would regularly watch him from his watery hiding places that Tempest began to grow concerned. On one of his lunchbreaks Tempest went to talk with a Spiral called Nemoh. A few days later he got what he wanted, information on Leviathan. And what he read surprised him.
