Legends say these dragons were birthed from the sea itself; that the Tidelord shaped them from the seafoam, and they walked out of the surging surf as mist, solidifying with every step until tiny little feet touched the warm dunes and stretched their heads towards the sun.
Like their namesake, Surging Surf dragons are drawn to the tides and follow their ebb and flow in every part of their lives. They are intimately connected to the in-between spaces; where water meets the shore, where the sand and sea meet the air.
Because of their familiarity with the Tsunami Flats shoreline, they are easily able to not only predict the best parts of the sea on which to defend their territory, but also which points the enemy combatants are liable to attack. They prefer to play rather than fight, making their homes in coves and other little inlets on the shore. When they are not chasing and skimming over the waves, they scavenge the things that wash up with the tides.
