Smidgen became a Bogsneak on the 8th of Starfall 17, replacinging the 21st one of the weyr, with a scroll that the dragons of Sludgy's Southern Skyway Respite and Trade Station brewed. They knew he wanted to change although he was a handsome Wildclaw, but he really wanted that nifty longer pointier forked tongue. See - he is looking at it right now!

Grintails says his new improved tongue makes her laugh - sort of a grumbly sound. His tickbird, Tattle, likes to scream at it and threatens to bite if it gets too close.

Smidgen is now a Bogsneak and claims he was hatched so long ago that he can't remember what he was when he hatched. It was probably a Guardian or a Fae, like his parents, but it was too long ago. He vaguely remembers being a Wildclaw but doesn't miss having that ... err ... wild claw. He used to snag it on things. Now, however, he wonders how he would have looked hatching out of a Bogsneak egg... Hmmm.
Smidgen collects and uses feathers to make quill pens which he then uses for his drawings. Grintails provides some that she finds as she wanders the grounds. Other birds around Moonlit Night Weyr also contribute as new feathers replace the old.
