Chernobyl would join the other Coatl and the Imperial in patrolling and protecting Magnolia Outpost, she really would, but she's got more interesting things to do instead of wasting her time with that. Seriously! Magnolia Outpost has those two sentry Spirals and no one's gonna fight an Imperial with another Coatl right behind him. Chernobyl's got better things to do.

She came to Magnolia Outpost as a hatchling, new and young to the world. The Elder Masaiyah guided her almost blindly, as they were unable to understand each other for a while until Kiran came upon them. Thankfully, the older Coatl was able to understand that the Elder Masaiyah was bringing them a new hatchling and helped them finish the journey back to Magnolia Outpost.

Despite the language barrier, the Elder Masaiyah set Chernobyl on the path that made her an alchemist today, by bringing her a Curious Kettle for her familiar. Chernobyl hadn't understood what it meant at the moment, but there was a wordless understanding between them. Now, Chernobyl takes care of all their alchemical needs, brewing up materials and goo out of leftovers and scraps, eagerly discovering all sorts of new recipes.
