Clan: Black Shamrock

Claire is a spunky individual, the more serious and calm side is not really for her. Given for her large size, her enthusiasm usually causes her to stumble and fall. However, her energy does give her a step in the right direction to being a Defender. Older Defenders are trying to teach her to be more graceful, use her large size to the advantage. This usually does not tend to go well, but she is trying to be more like her father, Ezra. He may be a Samurai in another Clan, but he has mastered the techniques of grace and silence.

Although this young Imperial seems like she couldn’t hurt a fly, she can put on her war face and get dirty on the battlefield. She does not like fighting smaller dragons, they are usually too fast for her, unless she uses her armored tail. She has a small phobia towards Pearlcatchers, they are slightly smaller than she is, but they all seem to be a bit more agile than she would like, plus their crystals really do crack a tooth when hit with one. She may seem like a lunatic, but she does know how to hold her own, like her father had stressed before she left to join another Clan.

Claire is a special dragon, even though she is a Light Elemental, she is also fairly strong in the Ice Element Magic. Her mother being an Ice Monk within her Clan, she is very powerful within the Ice Element Magic, this causes Claire to be able to touch the Ice Magic without being an Ice Elemental. Now she isn’t as powerful as a dragon who is an Ice Elemental, but she can create thin layers of ice and bursts of hard snow that can pack a punch when dueling just right.

Although she is a Defender and she does have to take her job seriously, she is often seen as the light that brightens the cave. She is bubbly and loves to meet new dragons, although she does not take threats likely to her nor her kin. Claire loves to joke and enjoys hearing new jokes that come around. She is also very caring towards the sick, old, or young. She has an inner vow to never harm an egg or a hatchling, the elderly usually do not post a threat but she finds she can’t completely wield them out.
