Bismuth entered the Moryvan clan after leaving his home of the Sunbeam Ruins behind in pursuit of knowledge. Alchemical knowledge, to be exact. His parents weren't exactly happy with his pursuit, found it too dangerous. But Bismuth knew that it was his calling. He looked up to Baldwin, who had managed to create an entire new species, but he wasn't planning on turning into a bogsneak himself anytime soon.

Going to the Tangled Wood in search for strong potion ingredients and toxins, he stumbled upon the clan, and them not having an Alchemist yet, he decided to make it his home. A very driven Imperial, gifted with the magic of light, he helped Felicie light her garden with artificial light from his magic, and works closely together with Grimraven, the Herbalist, though the two of them have a friendly rivalry. He has recently taken Coffret under his wing, teaching him what he has learned himself, as well as assigning him as his assistent, helping him with his research.

Though he doesn't like to talk, and one should not bother him when he's busy with his research, Bismuth can be sweet with particular dragons that he likes. His mate, Rosa, for example, who reminds him to go to bed on time and takes care of him in case he forgets to eat.
