Biography

Wight of the Fortress Isles
Vindicta was a legend long before the downfall of Clan Sharphorn. Her tale, out of all of these, strikes many as the saddest. She was known to be extremely haughty, competitive, gossipy, and insecure before the death of her beloved mate, Fang. After his tragic death, Vindicta threw herself to the edge of madness. She abandoned all help and left her clan for the spires of ice off the coast of the fabled Fortress of Ends. In this place she mourned her loss so terribly and so frighteningly that everyone in the Southern Icefield knew her as the Wight of the Fortress Isles, something between a dragon and a malicious spirit perhaps possessed by the Shade.
It is unclear whether she remains there to this day or not. Some believe she flew to the aid of her clan when she saw visions of an Emperor attacking the ones she used to call her family. Others think she would never abandon her mourning. There is evidence to support both theories. To this day, her wails and screams can still be heard on the winds of the Fortress, particularly strong the closer you get to the Isles. But there is also an eeriness to the caves of Clan Sharphorn that is identical to that of the Isles...
